Since we'd been accustomed to some great breweries back home like Sierra Nevada, New Belguim, Squatter's, and Sequoia Brewing Co., we've been on the lookout for new-to-us breweries and fun bars where we could enjoy them. Something we got used to and loved in California (and Boulder, CO) were clean, smoke-free restaurants and bars, and it was particularly difficult moving to a state where every public place spat you out smelling like an ash tray, with a headache. Fortunately Ohio just passed an indoor smoking ban, and it's made going out on the town much more enjoyable.
